We have introduced a new type of house point to the school system.

Leadership Points are intended to recognise students that show excellent character in school and the wider community. Each Leadership Point is worth five house points and will be a clear indicator of your positive contribution to school life.

Some examples of activities that can earn you Leadership Points include:

  • Proposing and leading house activities.
  • Proposing and leading charity events.
  • Volunteering at school or in the wider community.
  • Running extra-curricular clubs (COVID-permitting) to share hobbies and teach new skills.
  • Being actively involved with Student Voice meetings.
  • Contributing to the House News blog.
  • Taking on tutor or prefect responsibilities.
  • Supporting and mentoring classmates.
  • Taking time to support fellow students during homework club.

This is by no means a complete list. Throughout the year, staff will notice examples of positive, community-focused behaviour and reward it accordingly.

We look forward to seeing how many are claimed over the weeks ahead!
