Our House System aims to facilitate more mixing between the different year groups, increase community spirit, peer mentoring, boost the existing rewards system, encourage more students to get involved in competitions, and develop leadership opportunities for students in KS3 and KS4.

It’s an opportunity to share ideas and activities that drive you as an individual – whether it’s a hobby, a sport or volunteering through charity work. I want you to make your own positive mark on the house – not just through claiming lots of housepoints, but by actively supporting each other throughout each term.

Of course, there’s a healthy sense of competition here, and I’d be kidding if I said that I don’t care about whether Coombe comes out triumphant in every competition and every challenge. But the work that goes into trying – the innovation, cooperation, peer support and teamwork – reap longer-lasting benefits that will make your time at Warden Park much more rewarding and help you craft social and academic skills that will serve you for life.

Grab the reins and be awesome.
